Hello, and thanks for visiting. My name is Ruben “Rez” Vidal Rosario. I am a Music Producer/Composer/Audio Engineer/Sound Designer/Artist with many interests and influences. I started off listening to salsa and Latin jazz as a kid in the Bronx. I later became fascinated with story telling by Slick Rick and Nas and the sampling and sarcasm of the Beatnuts. I became fascinated by the lyrical delivery of Big Pun, Jay-Z, and Eminem, but hip-hop changed. So did my taste in music.
I drew new inspiration through Electronic Dance Music (EDM). I was inspired by artists such as ATB, Armin van Buuren, Skrillex, Nero, Calvin Harris, Paul Oakenfold, and many others. The energy, dynamic content, and musical diversity of these artists inspired me to develop and contribute my own brand and styles of music.
I release primarily EDM tracks, but I don’t limit myself or those I work with. Tomorrow may have me working on a film score, a hip-hop track, or an orchestral composition. The reality is this: I am a professional musician, but I am a person before that. I reserve the right to change, grow, and develop new ideas as I become inspired.
